After picking up a pencil again at the end of 2023 (after 8 years of not making any art!), I started to nervously share my art on Instagram to my friends and to my total surprise people were interested. 

Even more of a surprise, people wanted me to make artwork for them! I was blessed with opportunities to make custom pieces, such as pet portraits, family portraits and I even illustrated and designed a dream journal.

Fast forward into 2024, I carried on creating custom art for people, but I also spent a lot of time experimenting with my art. I'm someone who feels everything very deeply, from the highs to the lows, and this started to spill through in the work I was making.

The majority of my work is inspired by my struggles with anxiety, grief, neurodivergence and trauma. I was scared to be so vulnerable in my work but every time I share my art it resonates with people all over the world who feel the same way. 

I truly believe that we can all help to make the world a better place, and it's become clear to me that I want to be a source of heartfelt joy in a world that very often feels sad and heavy. 

And so Holly Bee Designs was born. It's my rainbow coloured world of hope and joy.
